About Me

I'm a full stack software engineer who enjoys building all kinds of applications from frontend to backend. I've built custom web applications in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform. I tend to focus on React and .Net backend but also have experience in Python and Java.

Slalom - Senior Consultant - Current Employer - Since 2019

Lead Software Engineer - Hospital Industry - Current Project

Currently building a Rest API in using Azure Functions to communicate with internal services and external services. The API will be used to in a NextJS application using static site generation to build static sites from a templated page in Sitecore and data retrieved from the API.

Lead Software Engineer - Financial Industry

Built and architected a custom connector between a proprietary storage solution and Trino. Lead meetings between proprietary storage team and custom connector team to communicate connectivity between services.

Lead Backend Engineer - Automotive Industry

Built a backend Springboot Java restful endpoint to communicate with mobile app. The backend handled authentication across multiple microservices and built business logic around a new end consumers where the microservices were built with B2B in mind.

Software Engineer - Pharmaceutical Company, AWS

Migrated a traditional on prem ETL process to a cloud native architecture framework using AWS Glue, Spark, and Scala orchestrated by Gitlab.

Software Engineer - Utility Company, Hybrid Azure

Updated an ASP.Net application to advantage of Entity Framework and Azure Storage for an enterprise utility company. Also, while modernizing their web application to a more current JavaScript standard.
